How a Vexaro session stays sharp, fast and private

4 min read

What happens after you click Connect: a picture that adapts to your network, a direct route wherever the network allows, and encryption on every path.

A remote session feels simple from the outside: you click connect, a screen appears, and your input lands on the other machine. Behind that, Vexaro Desk is doing three jobs at once: keeping the picture sharp, finding the best route between the two computers, and keeping the session private. Here is what each of them means for you.

A picture that adapts to the network

Screen content is unlike camera video. It is mostly static, then suddenly scrolls or repaints a whole window; text has to stay sharp while a video thumbnail plays in the corner. Vexaro Desk tunes the stream to the computer it runs on and to the network in between, and keeps adjusting it for as long as the session runs.

  • When the network has room to spare, text and fine interface detail stay crisp.
  • When bandwidth drops or delay rises mid-session, quality and frame rate step down gradually, so the picture softens instead of freezing.
  • When the link recovers, the picture sharpens again on its own. There is nothing to configure.

Direct wherever the network allows

The best route between two computers is usually the direct one. Vexaro Desk connects the two machines directly wherever the network allows, so your screen travels from one computer to the other without a detour through us, and the delay stays close to what the distance between them allows.

Direct routes matter for more than speed. Traffic that never passes through a third party has fewer places where it could be observed.

When a network forces a relay

Some networks do not allow a direct connection between two computers; the session still connects, through a relay. Direct sessions are end-to-end encrypted. When a network forces a relayed connection, traffic stays encrypted in transit through Vexaro-operated relays. The Encryption Overview in our Trust Center explains what that means for your data. Read the Encryption Overview

Direct when we can, relayed when we must, encrypted either way.

The result is a session that quietly does the right thing: a picture tuned to your hardware and network, the most direct route your network allows, and encryption on every path. You only notice that it connected and stayed clear.
